SMAS AND CHAS

We are delighted to announce that Planned Environmental Services Ltd has received Worksafe Contractor accreditation from leading health and safety assessors SMAS. Our accreditation is reassuring confirmation for new clients that we meet all the core criteria set out by the Safety Schemes in Procurement Forum.

The nationally recognised SMAS Worksafe assessment analyses in depth all the important elements of health and safety, including:

• the strength and scope of our health and safety policy and procedures, and the way we monitor, review and update them
• the way we conduct risk assessments, method statements and COSSH assessments
• the way we implement, communicate and manage safe systems of work and other health and safety matters internally, from H&S training and skills training through to keeping all staff informed on H&S developments and legislation.

Our SSIP-approved status also means Planned Environmental Services Ltd will be included on the national SSIP portal and database, raising our profile and visibility among clients and partners.
